The Flo-1400 utilizes 6 - 55 watt
biax lamps that are switchable for 2, 4, or 6 light operation.
Fluorescents give naturally soft even light. The included slide
in diffuser provides an even softer light.
The Flo-1400 is perfect for
location work where power hungry incandescents can quickly
overload available power. With just a fraction of the heat
of incandescents you also avoid cooking your talent or constantly
running air
conditioning. The included lamps are rated for 10,000 hours
for a longlife, cost effective solution.
The Flo-1400 is an excellent
replacement for soft boxes such as Chimera or Photoflex.
Fluorescent lights are also the preferred method for lighting even
backgrounds for chroma keying.
